August 2024 Software Upgrade

Important information about the upcoming software upgrade

This August, we will be performing an upgrade of our assessment software, Momentum. This upgrade reflects our commitment to providing you, our users, with software that meets your needs and allows you to continue the important work you do.

Key Dates: 10-11 August

This upgrade is scheduled to take place over the weekend to minimize disruption. The system will be unavailable from 5pm on Friday 9 August until 8am Monday 12 August.

What to Expect

  • Single Page Application (SPA) format for Home Care, Palliative Care, Acute Care and LTCF assessments – a new look and feel with smoother navigation and a better user experience

  • Name change – the Momentum logo is being retired and the software will now be referred to as interRAI Assessment Software or iAS

  • New Mobile App – this will replace the Check In Check Out (CICO) function

  • Contact Assessment Version 10 - moving from Version 9.3 to Version 10 of the Contact Assessment which includes both updated and new items
